Country Business Mums’ presents Mother’s Day Business Lunch Friday 9th May

Indulge in a day out with NAR Design’s Country Business Mums at Eldredge Vineyards, Spring Gully on Friday 9th May.

Our guest speaker will be Linda Eldredge from Eldredge and Associates.

Linda will take us on a rare personal journey of being a mum in business while travelling the world learning other cultures and experiences.

Her experience covers business, management, training and consulting as well of course as being a Mum.

This will be followed by networking, lunch and a glass of bubbles (or softdrink) in the beautiful surroundings of Eldredge Vineyards for only $36.

New Zero-Day Vulnerability Hits Internet Explorer 9 & 10

A new zero-day vulnerability in certain versions of Internet Explorer has been identified and is being used in targeted attacks. Microsoft has not released an official bulletin acknowledging this vulnerability yet, but has confirmed that both Internet Explorer 9 and 10 are affected. The newest version, Internet Explorer 11, does not suffer from this vulnerability.Continue reading→

The Gums ChildCare Centre web site upgrade by NAR DesignAs part of our ongoing work with The Gums Childcare Centre, NAR Design has redesigned www.thegumsccc.com.au as well as creating their new Facebook page www.facebook.com/TheGumsCCC.

The brief for the web site was to create a clean and simple site that could be managed quickly and easily by staff every week.

NAR Design provided the design as well as onsite training for staff, with the site hosted from NAR Design’s server.

The Gums is a family owned and operated business providing quality education and care to families in the Clare Valley and surrounding district.

HP SpectreXT Ultrabook

HP SpectreXT Ultrabook available from NAR DesignRob has been prolonging the life of his HP laptop for many years with fresh operating system installs and upgrading to faster solid state drives for storage – the latest being a 180GB Intel 335 Series SSD.

But after almost six years of daily use, the time had come to upgrade. The only question was which way to go?

It had to be fast and durable – the last HP laptop was turned on and off, opened and shut up to ten times a day over six years so there are big shoes to fill!
