Former Neagles Rock winemaker Steve Wiblin has opened a cellar door in a former corn store to showcase his own brand, Erin Eyes, which offers classic Clare Valley wine varieties and styles.
The cosy new cellar door, housed in a beautifully renovated 1860’s building in Auburn town, means wine lovers can now enjoy a glass of Erin Eyes Shiraz paired with a steaming bowl of soup, home-made by Steve’s wife Lynette.
When the weather warms up, visitors can take a glass of Riesling outside to enjoy in the sunny courtyard or linger over a platter of local cheese, dukkah and other locally-sourced gourmet delights.
